HAPPY BIRTHDAY IRWAN
Cupcakes for my hubby 35th birthday today. Cupcake ni untuk dia belanja kawan-kawan tempat kerja dia di Kontena Nasional cawangan Westport. Sambil menyelam sambil minum air. Itu merupakan salah satu cara promosi jugak. Pertama kali ni buat promosi cam ni. Semua cupcakes tu 46 biji, kek perisa pisang dan cip coklat. Di atasnya dihiaskan dengan bunga-bunga fondant (amatur style)... bila dah disiapkan camni..seronok pulak. Lepas ni nak buat lagilah.
Tapi yang tak bestnya ada sikit kesilapan teknikal ada cup yang tak cukup penuh. Akan diperbaiki lain kali yek... Sifu ku ina...tolong bg comment ...

Banana Cupcakes.
Untuk pertama kalinya mencuba resepi ini; Banana Cupcakes. Senang je resepinya. nak buat pun senang. Dah siap tu sedap pulak tu. Frosting tu guna marjerin (sepatutnya guna unsalted butter), gula icing, perasa vanilla dan ground cinnamon. Rasa frosting tu la yang paling saya suka. Kalau tengok bahagian bawah cupcake tu macam sedikit hangus..itu adalah kerana saya sengaja bakar dia agak lama sedikit supaya nampak warna perang tu.the cross section..yummm...

Resepi Tiramisu Kiwi
Saya nak kongsi resepi istimewa ini yang saya dapat daripada keratan akhbar Mingguan Malaysia (Ahad; 7 June 2009). Resepi ni nampaknya ringkas tetapi saya belum lagi mencubanya. Saya pasti akan mencubanya juga dalam masa terdekat ini.
Tiramisu Kiwi
250 gm keju mascarpone (kat hypermarket byk jual ni)
2 biji telur
75 gm gula
120 gm krim putar
100 gm kek span
6 biji kiwi kuning
sedikit serbuk limau kasturi
Cara penyediaan;
1. Pukul keju mascarpone dengan telur kuning dan 50 gm gula.
2. Pukul telur putih dengan lebihan gula ( didalam bekas lain).
3. Adunkan bersama adunan keju mascarpone dan adunan telur putih tadi.
4. Letakkan krim putar pada gelas hidangan. Lapis kek span dan hirisan kiwi. Taburkan serbuk limau kasturi di atas hidangan.

White Cake or Beige Cake?
This recipe actually was White Cake but just because i using colored esen vanilla the colour changed to beige. Make sure use plain esen vanilla for White Cake another time.
Ingredients
Makes 1 9-by-13-inch cake
- 1 1/4 cups (2 1/2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened, plus more for pan and wire rack
- 4 1/2 cups sifted cake flour, plus more for pan
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 tablespoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups sugar
- 7 large egg whites
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter baking pan. Line bottom with parchment paper; butter paper, and dust with flour, tapping out any excess. Set aside.
- Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt into a medium bowl, and set aside. Combine milk and vanilla in another bowl, and set aside. Beat butter in the bowl of an electric mixture fitted with the paddle attachment until pale and creamy. Add sugar in a steady stream, and continue beating until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Reduce speed to low. Add dry ingredients in three batches, alternating with the milk mixture and starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Be careful to avoid overbeating. Set aside.
- In a clean bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold a third of the whites into batter until combined. Fold in remaining whites in two batches.
- Pour batter into prepared pan, and smooth top with a metal spatula. Bake until a tester inserted near the center comes out clean and the cake springs back when pressed lightly in the center, 35 to 45 minutes. Transfer to wire rack; cool 15 minutes before unmolding. Butter wire rack. Loosen cake sides with a paring knife, and invert cake onto greased rack. Reinvert to prevent it from splitting. Cool completely before using or storing in the freezer.
Donut turn
Here you are...at last for almost 15 years ++ i have never make donut...now i try again. Taste good. My friend's also said like that.
Now i want to share with other my plain donut recipe.
Donut Recipe
Ingredient A
600gm flour
100gm self raising flour
100gm sugar
30gm milk powder
1 tsp salt
11gm (1 packet)instant yeast
Ingredient B
1 egg
330ml warm water
60gm margerin
1 tsp bread softener
Method;
1. Mix all together ingredient A.
2. Added ingredient B . Take some time to kneading the dough.
3. Left aside until doubled size.
5. Let donut to rest about 15 minutes.
6. Deep fry in cooking oil just until golden colour.
7. Decorate with icing sugar or chocolate ganache.
